My hair was getting very dried out from my previous dryer. It was costly so I was hesitant. I bought it and immediately felt a big difference. Love this dryer!

Underwhelming Product, June 6, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: New Bio Ionic Idry Whisper Light Conditioning Hair Dryer 1400w (Health and Beauty) Searched high and low for a good, quiet hair dryer for my wife. They are usually very loud and she was worried about damage to her hearing. This dryer is very quiet...problem solved, right? First thing we noticed is that the air volume is a fair-bit less than the $20 Remington it replaced. Now it takes longer to dry her hair. I think it is quiet enough that the longer exposure is not a problem. If you buy it, be sure to put the cord up out of the way. I got it caught on my foot and pulled the dryer to the floor. The unit is very light, as advertised. It is built so light that it broke when it hit the floor. The case popped open at the top and one of the motor mounts broke. I managed to get everything back in place and glue the mount back together. It still works. The warranty does not cover damage due to impact. I wouldn't blame the manufacturer for my clumsiness but I'd like something tougher. My wife never gushed about how wonderful her hair feels, as in other reviews... Read more

However, I was nicely surprised with this product. Hubby can continue sleeping while I get ready in the am, works great!
